The problem

The tools built for everyone fit no one.

You're running a portfolio on software built for one shop — a booking app here, a POS there, spreadsheets to tie it together. Every category on the market fails the operator building a brand across many doors.

Enterprise salon/spa

Built for salons, wearing a barbershop hat

Real multi-location depth — buried under spa modules you'll never use, months-long rollouts, and pricing you can't see without a sales call.

Salon-first · month-long rollouts · demo-gated pricing
Barbershop-native

Barbershop DNA that thins out as you grow

Genuinely built for the chair — but the price climbs with complexity, and true franchisor-grade governance is still maturing.

Chair-first · climbs with complexity · thin at scale
Solo & marketplace

They rent you your own customers

Great for one chair. But the marketplace owns discovery and charges to introduce you to clients who walked into your own shop.

One-chair tools · a fee to reach your clients · no console
Not a salon. Not an enterprise.

You're building a brand.

No incumbent sits in all three: barbershop-native, true franchisor-grade multi-location depth, and lightweight and flat-priced. That triangle is where Amplify lives.

Your data

Your customers are yours. Your data is walled off from your competition.

In this business, your client list is the business. Amplify is a processor, not an owner — we never market to your clients, and we never sell your data.

  • Nobody browses. Every access is a named person, a reason, and a log you can pull yourself.
  • A named competitive exclusion, enforced in the system — anyone with a competing interest is written out of access.
  • Yours to export, always. No ransom, no lock-in.

One brand. Every door.

Brand standards used to stop at the signage. We extend them into the till.

Set a service and a price once, publish it to every location of your brand, and schedule it for the future. Consistency across the brand — autonomy where a location needs it.

Run the floor

Reservations and walk-ins, in one flow.

The way a barbershop actually operates — booking and a native walk-in queue on one screen. No double-booked chairs, no missed same-day calls.

Built for the whole shop

Everyone who runs the business — more efficient, more profitable.

We built it from the workflows of everyone who actually uses it — so each role gets faster, and the whole brand gets more profitable.

Owners & franchisors

Every door in one view, brand standards enforced to the register, royalty and KPI rollups without chasing spreadsheets.

Franchisees

Profitability in 18 months, not years — one system to run the floor, staff, and payments.

Managers

Live queues and chair utilization, smart scheduling, and labor that flexes to the Saturday rush.

Staff & stylists

Fast check-in and checkout, transparent tips and commissions, and a rebooked chair — less admin, more cutting.

Front desk

Reservations and walk-ins on one screen, so no one waits and no booking gets missed.

Finance

Payments, cash, and QuickBooks reconciled automatically — one source of truth across the brand.

Our story

We built Amplify because we couldn't buy it.

For fifteen years, the operators behind Amplify ran their shops on four different platforms — tools built for beauty schools, registers made for a single till, legacy software that never spent a day on a barbershop floor. Every one made the same trade: it worked for a shop, and it broke for a brand.

"This industry's software was built by developers who never spent a day in the shops. We built it the other way — proven in the barbershops and salons our investors and partners run, every day."
— our co-founder · fifteen years running multi-unit grooming brands
Professional barber shears, laid out on a tool roll
Reservations · Walk-ins · Wait & Serve

Built for how barbershops run — and where they're going.

Today · Reservation + Walk-in

Online booking and a native walk-in queue on one screen. No double-booked chairs, no missed same-day calls, no separate systems to reconcile at close.

Coming · Wait & Serve In build

The wait-and-serve model the largest walk-in brands run on — remote check-in, real-time wait times, and a rolling queue built for volume. In development now.

Operator-owned

Not built to be flipped to a consolidator.

The category is consolidating fast — the tools operators rely on keep getting acquired and folded into someone else's roadmap. When the software you run on gets bought, you inherit a new owner's priorities and a support line several deals deep. Amplify is built and run by operators — so we ship what a real floor needs, with no committee between insight and release.

When your platform gets acquired…

  • You inherit a new owner's roadmap — not yours
  • Support that's several acquisitions deep
  • Migrations and changes you didn't ask for
  • Price increases you can't opt out of

Fit

We're not for everyone — and we're fine with that.

A perfect fit if…

  • You run — or are building — a barbershop or grooming brand across 2 to 20+ locations
  • Walk-ins and same-day calls are a real part of your day
  • You want one command center, not five per-store logins
  • You want to own your customers and your data

Probably not, if…

  • You're a single chair or booth renter
  • You're a full-service day spa needing deep spa/medspa modules
  • You want a marketplace to bring you customers and don't mind the fee
  • You're happy renegotiating your platform every time you grow
FAQ

Questions from operators like you.

Some of Amplify's investors run shops in my industry. Can they see my data?
No — and it's worth understanding why. Amplify is a software platform; it doesn't compete with anyone. Some of the operators who built it and run on it are in the same industry — that's exactly what makes it built the way a real shop needs. But they're customers on the platform, no different from you: they have no more access to another business's data than the thousands of shops already sharing any other major platform in this category have to each other's. One business can never see another's. And Amplify goes further: anyone with a competing interest is excluded from behind-the-scenes access, every access is logged, and you can audit it yourself.
How hard is it to switch from what I run now?
Migration is on us. We bring your history over, you're live in about a week, and training runs about two hours. We've migrated barbershops and salons off this exact legacy software — we know exactly where the bodies are buried.
Do you handle walk-ins, or just appointments?
Both, in one flow, today — reservations and a native walk-in queue on one screen. And we're building Wait & Serve, the high-volume check-in model the largest walk-in franchises run on.
I'm a franchisor with locations across the country. Can I run all of them from one place?
That's the core of the product. One console for your whole brand — see and run every location as if you were standing in it, push catalog and pricing brand-wide, roll up royalties and KPIs, and keep one customer record that follows the client to every door.
What does it cost?
The platform is $250 per location per month — no setup fees, no per-user seats, no per-client fees, and no marketplace take-rate on your own customers. It doesn't climb as you add locations. On top of that you only pay for what you use: texting at $0.03 a message, plus optional modules like Voice AI you can add whenever you want them.
